Originally, the term "Dinée" was used to designate the inn where you stopped to eat during a journey. The "Dinée" had to be the same height as the "coucher". A bistronomic restaurant nurtured by the creativity of its Chef, La Dinée du Viguier in Figeac offers seasonal cuisine inspired by local produce. Gourmets and connoisseurs are welcomed to savour the flavours in the newly refurbished guards' room of the château.
Since February 2025, Grégory Diu has been the new chef at La Dinée du Viguier, bringing with him his passion for the region and its riches. Faithful to local flavours, he creates an authentic and generous cuisine, highlighting the products of the Quercy and Lot regions. A lover of seasonal ingredients, he creates balanced, gourmet dishes where each dish tells a story.
